Profile

Jesper Løffler Nielsen’s main area of expertise, and great passion, is IT-law with a particular focus on IT-contracts and privacy.

Jesper is a certified IT-attorney advising clients within the Danish tech-sector, including cloud-, robotics-, drone-, AdTech and AI-providers. He is also a founder and facilitator of several professional networks within data protection, privacy by design and legal aspects of new technologies. Finally, Jesper also have PhD in IT-law and several published books and articles covering IT and privacy topics and a “techlaw”-blog at a Danish online newspaper directed at IT-professionals, and have taught IT law and privacy for + 10 years (law students as well as practitioners).

In June 2016, Jesper completed a three-year course in business PhD with a focus on IT-law. Simultaneously with his PhD, he continued working as an attorney at Focus Advokater LLP. In connection with his PhD, Jesper was three months at Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley in 2015.
